SHIPPING AND HANDLING
Our Gourmet Caramel Apples are made to order to ensure freshness and carefully packaged so they arrive in perfect condition. To further ensure your gift is as fresh as possible, we use USPS for all of our deliveries. Our maximum time in transit is 3 business days. Apples are shipped Monday through Thursday; again, to ensure the fastest delivery. Though UPS is an extremely reliable shipping agent, there are times when even they are unable to provide on-time delivery, such as during extreme weather situations, national emergencies, or holidays. Please consider early deliver for holiday orders to ensure your gift arrives on time.
We suggest shipping to a location where you know somebody will be available to receive the package, for example, the recipient's workplace. UPS may leave gifts at a destination in which no one is home. But keep in mind, our gifts are perishable and shouldn't be exposed to the elements for too long, especially in warm or freezing weather conditions.
Lastly, when shipping to a warm weather climate, we will include special ice packs specifically designed for shipping perishables. As we understand shipping is so expensive, we do not charge any extra for our warm weather packing.
